Refund & Exchange Policy

At OEA PARIS, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. As D&K PARTNERS S.A.S (SIRET 83460191600036), with global fulfillment from Paris (France) and Seoul (South Korea via GFFF Corp.), this policy complies with European Union, French, and international consumer protection laws.


1. RETURN PERIOD

We offer a 14-day return policy in accordance with EU consumer protection law (Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code).

The 14-day period begins on the date you receive your order. Returns initiated after this period cannot be accepted, except for defective items covered under statutory warranty.


2. ELIGIBILITY & CONDITION

To be eligible for return, items must be:

  • Unworn, unwashed, and unused
  • In original packaging with all tags and labels intact
  • Hygiene seals (if applicable) must be unbroken
  • Accompanied by the order confirmation or invoice

D&K PARTNERS reserves the right to refuse refunds or apply partial refunds (depreciation fees) for items showing signs of wear, customer damage, alterations, or missing tags.


3. RETURN PROCESS

Step 1: Request Authorization

Email info@oeaparis.com within 14 days of delivery with:

  • Order number
  • Item(s) to return
  • Reason for return (optional but helps us improve)

Step 2: Receive Return Authorization

We will provide you with a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and a prepaid return shipping label within 2 business days. The return address depends on your order's shipping origin:

Orders shipped from France (EU, UK, MENA customers)

  • Return to our Paris facility (address provided with RAN)
  • Carrier: Colissimo or Mondial Relay

Orders shipped from South Korea (US, Asia, Oceania customers)

  • Return to our Seoul facility via GFFF Corp. (address provided with RAN)
  • Carrier: DHL Express or FedEx International
  • All customs declarations will be pre-completed by OEA PARIS

Step 3: Ship Within 7 Days

  • Attach the prepaid label to your package
  • Drop off at the designated carrier location or schedule pickup
  • Items shipped without prior authorization will be refused

Note for US Customers

Orders shipped from our Seoul warehouse benefit from preferential tariff treatment under the Korea-US Free Trade Agreement (KORUS FTA). All return customs documentation will be prepared by OEA PARIS to ensure smooth processing.


4. RETURN SHIPPING COSTS

In accordance with French law (Article L221-23), the cost of returning goods is the customer's responsibility, unless the item is defective or incorrect.

4.1 Prepaid Return Labels

OEA PARIS provides prepaid return labels for your convenience. The label cost is deducted from your final refund:

  • EU returns: €8 deduction
  • UK returns: €15 deduction
  • US returns: €40 deduction
  • Asia/Oceania returns: €35 deduction

This service includes proper customs declarations and tracking, eliminating the risk of customs issues or lost packages.

4.2 Self-Arranged Returns

If you prefer to arrange your own return shipping:

  • Use a trackable, insured service
  • Customs must be declared as "Returned Goods - No Commercial Value"
  • OEA PARIS is not responsible for items lost or damaged during self-arranged return transit


5. EXCEPTIONS & NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

For health, hygiene, and legal reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Personal Care Items: Cosmetics, skincare with broken seals
  • Custom/Personalized Items: Made-to-order or customized pieces
  • Underwear and Swimwear: For hygiene reasons (if hygiene seal removed)
  • Gift Cards: Non-refundable per Article L221-28 French Consumer Code
  • Final Sale Items: Clearly marked items, excluding statutory warranty cases for defects


6. DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT ITEMS

Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt. If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item:

  1. Contact info@oeaparis.com within 48 hours of delivery
  2. Include clear photos of the defect and the packaging
  3. OEA PARIS will cover the full return shipping cost
  4. Full refund or replacement at your choice
  5. Processing time: 5-10 business days from return receipt

Note: All OEA-branded products undergo 100% quality inspection in Korea before shipping. We are committed to delivering only conforming products.

This is in addition to your legal warranty rights under Articles L217-3 to L217-17 of the French Consumer Code (2-year legal guarantee of conformity) and Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code (legal warranty against hidden defects).


7. EXCHANGES

To simplify our global logistics and ensure transparency, OEA PARIS does not offer direct exchanges. Instead:

7.1 For Size or Color Change

  1. Initiate a return for your original order via info@oeaparis.com
  2. Place a new order for the desired item
  3. Both transactions are processed independently for fastest delivery

7.2 Stock Reservation (Optional)

If concerned about stock availability, contact info@oeaparis.com BEFORE shipping your return. We can reserve the desired item for up to 7 business days while your return is in transit.

7.3 Why This Approach

Direct international exchanges involve complex customs procedures that often result in delays. Our return-and-reorder process typically delivers your new item 5-10 days faster than a traditional exchange.


8. REFUNDS

8.1 Processing Timeline

  • Inspection & approval: Within 5 business days of receiving the return
  • Refund initiation: Within 2 business days after approval
  • Bank processing: Additional 5-10 business days
  • Total: Up to 15 business days from return receipt to bank credit

8.2 Refund Method

Refunds are issued to the original payment method (credit card, Shop Pay, PayPal, etc.).

8.3 Refund Currency

  • EU customers: EUR
  • UK customers: GBP
  • US/International customers: USD

8.4 Currency Exchange Variations

Refund amounts are calculated based on the exchange rate at the time of the original order. Currency fluctuations between purchase and refund do not affect the refunded amount in the original purchase currency.

8.5 Duties and Taxes (DDP Orders)

For orders shipped under DDP terms (e.g., United States):

  • Product price: Fully refundable
  • Original shipping cost: Non-refundable (unless item is defective)
  • Import duties and taxes: Refundable upon successful customs return processing
  • Return shipping: Deducted from refund (as per Section 4.1)

8.6 Refund Delays

If you haven't received your refund within 15 business days of our approval notification, please contact info@oeaparis.com with your order number.


9. DATA PROTECTION

Personal data collected during the return process is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679).

Return-related transaction data is retained for 10 years as required by Article L123-22 of the French Commercial Code.


10. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

In case of dispute, please first contact us at info@oeaparis.com for amicable resolution. We commit to responding within 24 business hours.

If no agreement is reached within 60 days, you may use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/

This policy is governed by French law. The competent courts are those determined by applicable EU consumer protection rules.
